Accountant

Department: Finance
Reports to: Controller
Location: Reedsburg, WI

The Accountant is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable and other general accounting and office duties.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
GL Reconciliation
Fixed Asset Detail
Monthly Sales and Use Tax Reporting
Filing and Other Office Duties as Assigned
Back-up to other departments as needed

Summary of Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Minimum of Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required
Full charge bookkeeping experience with progressive responsibility is preferred

Computer knowledge:

Proficiency with the Internet, web browsers, and E-mail
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Experience with Syteline, Great Plains or MAS 200 preferred

Skills:

Excellent organizational, follow-up skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Experience with domestic and foreign customers and vendors
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, as well as cooperatively as part of a team
