Reports to: Director of Sales

The Inside Sales Manager will oversee daily shipping activities performed by the Sales Coordinator, and the Customer Service Associate. In addition, he/she will answer inbound sales inquiries as well as direct relevant information and leads to the appropriate Outside Sales Manager. He/she will work directly with Production Control to resolve backorders and coordinate large orders that exceed sales forecast. The Inside Sales Manager will also serve as liaison between Sales and other departments.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing Sales Coordinator and Customer Service Associate activities Fielding inbound sales inquires, and directing to Outside Sales Managers when appropriate Reviewing inbound purchase orders and managing outbound shipments Executing outbound sales channel communications Generating monthly sales reports Backing up Technical Support

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training:

College or University diploma required. 4-year degree desirable.

Experience:

Four or more years working in sales or customer services recommended- preferably in audio
Experience managing people
Working knowledge of professional audio equipment

Computer Knowledge:

Proficiency with the Internet, web browsers, and E-mail
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Other Skills:

Pleasant and professional telephone skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Energetic, patient, detail-oriented, with positive approach and demeanor
Ability to work well independently, as well as cooperatively as part of a team
