Sales Manager
Department: Sales
Reports to: Director of Sales
Location: Reedsburg, Wisconsin
The Sales Manager is responsible for outside sales activities through a qualified distribution network. As a member of a strategic sales team, they will be responsible for ongoing sales territory development and individual sales channel account management into US and international markets.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ongoing development of the sales channel in select territories
- Qualifying incoming sales channel inquiries
- Coordinating reseller visits and events
- Coordinating demonstrations for select end customer organizations
- Answering technical sales channel and end customer questions
- Trade show participation
Summary of Qualifications
Education / Training:
College or University diploma required. 4-year degree desirable.Experience:
- Four years of successful sales or customer service experience, preferably in professional audio or video.
- Working knowledge of professional audio and/or video equipment.
Computer knowledge:
- Proficiency with the Internet, web browsers, and E-mail
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Experience with a contact manager application
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Clear written and verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work well independently , as well as cooperatively as part of a team
- Speaking a second language is a plus
