With the new Mac OS 10.8 (Mountain Lion), Apple has introduced a new security model. By default, users are only able to install applications downloaded from the App Store or applications that have been authenticated by Apple. Wave Agent is not an authenticated application, so extra steps are required for installation. Wave Agent software has been updated to revision 1.16. This new version addresses an iXML change that Wave Agent made to files it updated. The change caused WAV files to be unimportable in certain software applications.

Wave Agent version 1.15 is now available for download. This new version adds the following:

• new – Control Mode (Previously called Meter Mode) which allows access to the take list and metadata editing across all media on an attached 788T (2.10 firmware).
• fixed – application startup time improved.

Downloading and installing will update any previous Wave Agent installation.
