CL-WIFI Interface for 788T

Description

The CL-WIFI is a hardware accessory that provides the 788T and 788T-SSD Digital Recorder with WiFi connectivity. With a CL-WIFI connected to a 788T over the C.Link connection, the 788T is controllable by an Apple iOS device, such as an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch running iOS version 4 or greater, users can control a 788T with the free CL-WiFi Controller app (see below).

The CL-WIFI hardware requires a 788T or 788T-SSD running firmware revision 2.14 or greater.

The CL-WiFi iOS App

The CL-WiFi iOS app is available as a free download from the iTunes app store. It provides transport control, input routing, signal level and timecode display, and editing of a recording's metadata.

New - the CL-WiFi now auto-resumes communications with the 788T when the iOS device wakes from sleep, or after an incoming call or system notification (e.g. low battery warning).
New - remembers the number of track meters selected in iPhone/iPod track meter view if the app is closed using the home button then reopened.
New - WEP64 with passphrase security is now supported. Requires 788T v2.15 firmware.
New - when the app is opened it now shows the last view being displayed before the app was closed. If the CL-WiFi app is removed from the recently used apps list, it will start in the transport view when next opened.
New - adds a "Retry" option to the "Cannot Find 788T/Cl-WIFI" notification.
Fixed - track names for recorded takes would not always be shown correctly or on the correct track.
Fixed - fixes a bug that would cause a black empty space in the iPad transport view when closing the keyboard after editing a scene name.
Fixed - a number of rare conditions that would cause the application to freeze or close unexpectedly.
