The newly introduced A20-TX digital wireless bodypack transmitter has a multipurpose input, flexible powering, and ultra-low-power e-Paper display. The A20-TX transmitter and A20-Nexus Go receiver will join other Astral-family products in the Sound Devices booth, including the A20-Nexus multichannel, true diversity wireless receiver with SpectraBand, NexLink RTSA, and Power-over-Ethernet and audio via Dante; the svelte A20-Mini bodypack transmitter with GainForward and SpectraBand; and the A20-RX 2-channel slot-in portable true-diversity wireless receiver.

We will also display our 8-Series line, which includes Scorpio, 888, and 833 mixer-recorders. Designed specifically for sound professionals’ workflows, each 8-Series mixer-recorder has unprecedented recording power and a rugged, efficient interface.

We plan to celebrate our 25th anniversary in a special way at IBC this year. In addition to demoing our MixPre II Series audio mixers, with crystal-clear, ultra-low-noise Kashmir preamps, 32-bit float bit depth and a 192 kHz sample rate, we’ll have an opportunity for a stand visitor to win a limited-edition silver MixPre-3 II mixer-recorder.
