*Note 1: Approved mechanical drives are recommended for use only in stationary applications. Excessive vibration or motion may cause data corruption. The approved mechanical drives listed support QuickTime video files and Broadcast Wave polyphonic audio files, but not Broadcast Wave monophonic files. Use approved Solid State Drives if recording to Broadcast Wave monophonic file format is required.

** Note 2: Sound Devices has worked directly with Delkin to identify an intermittent Media I/O issue with newer Delkin CF 500x and CF 700x cards. Delkin has confirmed that a recent change to these two cards is most likely responsible for the errors. Cards containing KZ in the serial number are susceptible to this issue and should not be used. Cards containing VB in the serial number will function correctly and are approved. Deklin CF 1000x and 1050x cards do not experience this issue and may continue to be used.

Utilizing Dante, microphones, preamplifiers, mixers, recorders and many other devices may be connected together on one common, Ethernet-based network allowing for clean and simple physical connections as well as pristine, ground-loop and noise-free audio. Dante provides additional functionality in that any or all channels of audio may be routed to any of the Dante devices on the network independently.
