Technical Services Manager – Audio Ltd. – Watford, England

We design, assemble, and support our products at our headquarters in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, and our offices in Madison, Wisconsin, and Watford, UK. This position is office-based at Audio Ltd. in Watford, England. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Service department staff  
  • Monitor RA case documentation, including service notes and component charges 
  • Achieve a department average turnaround time of 5 business days or less 
  • Investigate repeat offender cases and provide prompt feedback to the team 
  • Troubleshoot faults to the component level 
  • Schedule and document routine Test Stand maintenance 
  • Help identify and document fault trends and quality issues 
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust stock accordingly 
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized service area 
  • Assist Technicians with difficult repairs 
  • Participate in daily/weekly meetings with Sound Devices team members 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:  

  • HNC, HND or degree in Electronics or related field 
  • 10 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits   
  • 5 years of management experience 
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams  
  • Familiarity with Microsoft OS  
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
