They’ll cover the Sound Devices Astral ARX16 receiver’s advanced features, such as a 470-1525 MHz global tuning range via SpectraBand, NexLink long distance remote control of transmitters, integrated RTSA, and PoE and audio via Dante. They’ll also talk about the new Sound Devices Astral ARX16 4-Channel Expansion Licenses, which increase the eight receiver channel count to 12 or 16. Paul and Gary will also demonstrate the AutoAssist function, just introduced with the recent v1.20 Sound Devices Astral ARX16 software update. AutoAssist automatically scans the current tuning band for clean frequencies and assigns them to multiple channels. The clean frequencies are automatically pushed to NexLinked transmitters.
