Sound Devices Appoints Gary Trenda as RF Applications Engineer

REEDSBURG, WISC., JULY 6, 2021 – Sound Devices is pleased to announce the recruitment of Gary Trenda as an RF Applications Engineer. Gary has over twenty years of experience in the Program Making and Special Events (PMSE) industry. He previously served as Applications Engineer for Professional Wireless Systems.

“Gary has advised Sound Devices for many years and his experience in RF coordination is extremely impressive. We are excited to welcome him into an official role at the company,” said Matt Anderson, CEO.

Gary began working in live sound shortly after graduating with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He was the first Audio RF Technician for Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas and has since worked as an Audio and RF Engineer on a variety of system deployments, ranging from installations to special events. His recent events include the Latin Grammy Awards and Super Bowl LV. Gary has also provided frequency coordination services for a wide range of events, from University of Wisconsin Football games to the Salesforce.com Dreamforce conference. He is a current member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and the Audio Engineering Society.
