Sound Devices at NAB 2024

Visit stand C6618 at NAB to see the newest additions to our Sound Devices Astral^® family: the A20-SuperNexus wireless receiver with HexVersity^®, which packs up to an unprecedented 32 channels in just a 1U 19” rack; the A20-Opto expansion box, which adds native Optocore audio I/O to interconnect DiGiCo consoles with the A20-SuperNexus receiver;  the A20-Outpost-NL box for remote-mounting NexLink^® antennae via Ethernet; along with a preview of a brand new Astral product.  

We will also demo the 8- to 16-channel A20-Nexus true diversity wireless receiver; A20-TX digital wireless bodypack transmitter; A20-Mini ultra-compact digital wireless bodypack transmitter; and A20-RX two-channel slot-in portable true-diversity wireless receiver.  

We have big news at NAB for 8-Series mixer-recorders, including Scorpio, 888, and 833… stay tuned to see what it is! Designed for sound pros’ workflow, each 8-Series mixer-recorder has unprecedented recording power, a rugged, efficient interface, and can be docked to A20-Nexus receivers.  

We haven’t forgotten about our MixPre II Series mixer recorders, suited for field audio, sound effects, film audio, or live music, which we’ll also have on display at NAB.
