Dugan Automatic Mixing is the industry’s most highly regarded automatic mixing algorithm. “Sound Devices is a really smart company,” said creator and industry icon Dan Dugan, CEO of Dan Dugan Sound Design, Inc. “The 633 is a perfect match for putting in automatic mixing because it adds another feature to what is already a really fabulous line of products.” Dugan Automatic Mixing is a great tool for multi-microphone speech applications, smoothly attenuating unused microphones for a cleaner, clearer mix.

Audio Limited, a subsidiary of Sound Devices and the UK’s premier wireless microphone manufacturer, also received a nomination for the A10 Digital Wireless System. The System includes the A10-TX Digital Bodypack Transmitter with recorder, the A10-RX Digital Two-Channel True Diversity Receiver, and the Dante-enabled A10-RACK for SuperSlot wireless receivers. The A10 Digital Wireless System offers extremely low latency, best-in-class digital RF technology, and fully balanced, broadcast-quality mic preamps with analog limiters.

“The A10 Digital Wireless System allows sound professionals to go wireless without compromising quality or range,” said Kishore Patel, Managing Director of Audio Limited.

“We are honored to be nominated for a CAS award, along with the other great products from Denecke, Aaton, and Lectrosonics,” said Jon Tatooles, Chief Business Officer and co-founder of Sound Devices. “We know that our customers put their trust in us and we take that responsibility very seriously.”
