    • When using user-set record folders and scene names, corruption of the file directory has been reported. The actual audio data is fully intact, but the files cannot be viewed or retrieved by the 788T or a computer - the directory shows up 'garbled'. An affected volume must be sent to Sound Devices for file retrieval.

The 788T introduces a new microphone preamp and analog-to-digital topology to Sound Devices. This new circuit improves the dynamic range of the microphone inputs beyond the performance of the class-leading 702, 702T, 722 and 744T recorders.
