Are you curious about the A20-Nexus multichannel, true diversity wireless receiver? Do you want to talk directly with Sound Devices product experts about it? Then join us on Tuesday, March 7th, at 10:00am CST for an online demo hosted live by our very own Paul Isaacs and Gary Trenda!
They’ll cover the A20-Nexus receiver’s advanced features, such as a 470-1525 MHz global tuning range via SpectraBand, NexLink long distance remote control of transmitters, integrated RTSA, and PoE and audio via Dante. They’ll also talk about the new A20-Nexus 4-Channel Expansion Licenses, which increase the eight receiver channel count to 12 or 16. Paul and Gary will also demonstrate the AutoAssist function, just introduced with the recent v1.20 A20-Nexus software update. AutoAssist automatically scans the current tuning band for clean frequencies and assigns them to multiple channels. The clean frequencies are automatically pushed to NexLinked transmitters.
This event will also include a moderated Q&A session at the end. You can submit any questions you have – before or during the live demo – and get them answered during the session.
Important: After installing the firmware, it is essential that A20-Minis are unpaired, then re-paired with the A20-Nexus.
Note: To ensure best performance, always run the latest version of A20-Nexus with the latest version of A20-Mini.

This year marks Sound Devices’ 25th anniversary and the 100th anniversary of NAB. We plan to celebrate both milestones in booth C4611 at the NAB tradeshow, April 15th-18th, in Las Vegas!
At NAB 2023, we will exhibit our latest gear, including the new Astral A20-Nexus multichannel, true diversity wireless receiver. The A20-Nexus receiver offers a 470-1525 MHz global tuning range through SpectraBand, long-distance remote control of transmitters via our proprietary NexLink protocol, integrated RTSA (real-time spectrum analysis), and Power-over-Ethernet and audio via Dante.
We will also demo our 8-Series line, which includes Scorpio, 888, and 833 mixer-recorders. Designed specifically for sound professionals’ workflow, each 8-Series mixer-recorder has unprecedented recording power and a rugged, efficient interface.
Also on display will be MixPre II Series audio mixers, suited for field audio, sound effects, film audio, or live music. With crystal-clear, ultra-low-noise Kashmir preamps, MixPre II mixers allow you to record multiple voices or audio for video with superior quality – all the way up to a 32-bit float bit depth and a 192 kHz sample rate.
We will also showcase various plugins for the Astral, 8-Series and MixPre product families.
Drop by booth C4611 to discover these technologies, talk with our product experts, and participate in activities to mark our 25th anniversary!
